new RADIO SHOCK album "Rage158" (get it free) +more!
Lots of stuff for you to check out in this news release. First, there is a new RADIO SHOCK release, a limited edition CDR called "Rage158" which has been available at recent live shows. It's a little "darker" and "tougher" but I think everyone will dig it. 30 minutes and 8 tracks, including "Sick City Water" which I've been playing live for a while.

You can also get a physical copy, which is a noise-style hand-made CDR in an edition of 150. About 50 are already gone so you might want to get on it. Right now, all Radio Shock (and Roger Records) sales are through the new NO-CORE DISTRO STORE (http://nocore.bigcartel.com). There are a few other awesome and otherwise unavailable items available there as well from Unicorn Hard-On, Mincemeat or Tenspeed, Narwhalz, and Taiwan Deth. If you live in NYC, put this in your calendar. October 24 will be the massive FREENOISE FEST, to be held at DEATH BY AUDIO in Brooklyn. This will be an INC-style event, with a whole ton of crazy bands playing back-to-back 15-minute sets. RADIO SHOCK is playing, and this also features the notorious and legendary noise band COCK ESP, who have not played NYC in years. WHITE MICE also, and lots more.

I'm supporting imeem.com and last.fm because they have decided to offer royalties based on ad revenue to ALL artists with music on those sites. (Especially last.fm, whose service is simple and free) UNLIKE MySpace, which just launched a new music program which pays royalties only to a few major labels with whom MySpace has signed deals. Here's a story about it: http://blog.wired.com/music/2008/04/myspace-music-w.html I'd encourage all other musicians to start pointing people to last.fm instead of MySpace to hear your music.
