Weekend shows in Pittsburgh area, Wilmington NC, and your place?? (help!)
This Memorial Day weekend, RADIO SHOCK will be traveling and playing with POINGLY (http://www.myspace.com/poingly), a friend who plays some kind of laptop/electroclash/plunderphonics music.
FRI. MAY 23rd 8:00PM
PITTSBURGH SHOW CANCELLED!
and
SAT. MAY 24th 8:00PM
WE FEST at the Soapbox
255 N. Front St
Wilmington, North Carolina 28401
(This is part of a huge annual indie rock fest. It should be moderately inappropriate. Also playing is the awesome dance-party band EAR PWR)
and
SUN. MAY 25th
Your House!
That's right, we will be traveling from Wilmington, NC back to New York City, and we would like to play anywhere in-between. 10 minute sets opening for an already packed show would be fine. House shows, afternoon BBQs, birthday parties or guerilla actions would be fine. Get in touch with offers or ideas please. Thanks!

Some out-of-print Radio Shock releases, ON SALE
Carbon Records has a sale going on. http://www.carbonrecords.com/mailorder/sale.php
They've got the Radio Shock/Radio Shack split 7" for only $3.20. Plus the "Burn Down Radio" EP, which is almost completely sold out, and some copies of the early "Tour EP" CDR even! Lots of other awesome stuff there too, and they definitely deserve the support. (They even have the album by pre-Radio Shock band Cock Robot!)

Radio Shock <3 Philly + Int'l Noise Conf. in NYC
Philadelphia definitely has one of the awesomest music scenes going on right now and is the place I probably feel the greatest kinship towards. So I am totally honored and happy to have Radio Shock be a part of some Philly-based musical documentation.
ON THE "RADIO":
I recently traveled down there on the New Jersey Transit to SEPTA train for a live performance on Zradio (http://www.zobnoba.com), quite likely the finest internet radio program in the country. Seriously, these cats somehow find more underground, noise-punk-garage-spazz music than you could ever have imagined existed, and they play bands about a year before you start hearing about them everywhere else. Radio Shock performed a set at the Zradio compound on April 13th, which can be found in episode 207.
Direct link to the episode: (Zradio 207)
IN PRINT:
This has been out for a while but I've neglected to mention it until now: "Everyone Is Awesome All The Time." It's a silk-screened mini-zine based on photos of some of the hottest east-coast party-noise acts playing in Philly and the surrounding area. Radio Shock also appears and I could not be more thrilled with the company I'm keeping. This is created by Mark Price and you can get a copy at http://markpriceisafactory.com/details.html
Also features brothers-in-arms: Cars Will Burn, Mugu Guymen, Caustic Castle, Mincemeat or Tenspeed, Drums Like Machine Guns, AIDS Wolf, Kyle Mabson, more!
LIVE in NYC:
You DO NOT want to miss this show, THIS SATURDAY, Apr.26th

RadioShock shows, news release, etc.
RADIO SHOCK news release: Exciting Upcoming Shows, etc. http://www.radioshock.org
SHOWS:
Some awesome shows are coming up.
4/6 MONTREAL at Le Cagibi
4/13 PHILADELPHIA live on Zradio
4/26 NYC at INT'L NOISE CONFERENCE on Tour
That's right, this Sunday I will be in one of my favorite places to play, Montreal Canada at a cool place called Le Cagibi. (http://www.lecagibi.ca/) Not much info at the website, but you could call the phone number for more info I suppose. Supposedly I'm playing with an act which performs Gameboy covers of AC/DC songs. Best of all, this is my birthday weekend!
Then the next Sunday I play LIVE on ZRADIO! If you don't know, Zradio is only the best radio (and podcast) program in the country, playing tons and tons of underground rock/noise/scum that you've never heard of. You should be able to hear this live online, go to http://www.zobnoba.com, or archived at that site afterwards. If you live in Philly and want to come, send me a message for details!
Coming up soon, it's the monstrous noise event from Miami, the International Noise Conference on Tour. I'll be playing the NYC stop, which takes place at the Silent Barn (http://www.myspace.com/thesilentbarn) on Sat. April 26th, along with LOTS of other amazing people. Laundryroom Squelchers headline.
WEB UPGRADES:
The website and general Radio Shock web presence has undergone some upgrades. You can now receive these news alerts with your RSS Reader if you prefer.
(Go to http://feeds.feedburner.com/radioshocknews)
Or you can get them through the Google group.
You can even follow Radio Shock on Twitter.
FUTURE RELEASES:
A new CDR of material is really, really close to finished. This will be another limited release, and speaking of which, the "Burn Down Radio" EP is just about sold out! 15 copies or so left. (Buy one at http://www.rogerrecords.com)
Not too far in the future beyond that, a split 7" is happening.

Ironing out the kinks in the blog
Radio Shock Twitter integration: genuine success.
Apologies to anyone who may be subscribed to the blog at this time, but I am working out the kinks in Radio Shock's news delivery modernization. If you are not subscribed to the blog you can do so with any of several options at http://radioshocknews.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
I am trying to get things set so that blogposts/emails will be duplicated as twitters as well. Then if you're one of them teenagers what does everything through TXTing or IM, you can follow Radio Shock on Twitter too. See http://www.twitter.com/radioshock
So for those of you who are early adopters new technology, let me share some advance news of upcoming Radio Shock appearances.
April 6th, Montreal at Le Cagibi
April 13th, Philadelphia live on Zradio
April 26th, NYC at the International Noise Conference on Tour show
Coming out sometime in the future, furrealz: RadioShock/Narwhalz split 7"
