I created the theme song for this year's La Superette holiday art sale. You missed the event, but I've made the song a free download at last.fm - I'm pretty proud of this song, sounds like a cross between Radio Shock and the theme music to a Super Mario game or something. With a guitar solo even.

Lots of stuff for you to check out in this news release. First, there is a new RADIO SHOCK release, a limited edition CDR called "Rage158" which has been available at recent live shows. It's a little "darker" and "tougher" but I think everyone will dig it. 30 minutes and 8 tracks, including "Sick City Water" which I've been playing live for a while.

RADIO SHOCK : Last sec Lexington show and Freudian Slips
First of all, I incorrectly typed the name of one of the touring bands in the last email message. HYLAND HOLOGRAM, who I just saw play for the first time and are my new favorite band. Seriously. Those who noticed the error may have thought it was a Freudian Slip, but it's not true. I mistakenly used the name of an earlier proto-project which has become HYLAND HOLOGRAM.

This Memorial Day weekend, RADIO SHOCK will be traveling and playing with POINGLY (http://www.myspace.com/poingly), a friend who plays some kind of laptop/electroclash/plunderphonics music.

Some out-of-print Radio Shock releases, ON SALE

They've got the Radio Shock/Radio Shack split 7" for only $3.20. Plus the "Burn Down Radio" EP, which is almost completely sold out, and some copies of the early "Tour EP" CDR even! Lots of other awesome stuff there too, and they definitely deserve the support. (They even have the album by pre-Radio Shock band Cock Robot!)
